In Spanish, the -c- changes to a -zc- in El Presente just for the yo form for many verbs that end in -cer/-cir that are preceded by a vowel. These verbs keep the same irregularity in El Presente de Subjuntivo but in this conjugation the irregularity is kept in all forms.
