I think the teachers need to give you a full response here but there is a huge emphasis on conjugation of verbs across the various tenses throughout the course, and especially at the beginning. Spanish is quite a challenge in this regard - hence you are probably exasperated - but it is great when you begin to see the patterns of how conjugations are structured, and what seems to be a total mess of rules becomes something quite clever and not as difficult as it originally seemed. 

There will be plenty of grammar - loads in fact - as you work through it, as demonstrated by the lesson on "tanto como" which shows you how to use this expression with verbs, but also with nouns where different endings accompany the noun depending on whether it is masculine, feminine, singular or plural. This interaction with gender and number is really important and one I still forget, but am getting there.
