The translation is not provided, the examples translate it as "must," but google translate shows "owe" and "have to."
Maybe the google translate option is not the most reliable all the time.

Thanks for the reference. From what I've noticed, it seems that "have to" or "should" might be more common possibilities to consider when "deber" is encountered. Although, to be fair, there is not much difference between "must," "should," and "have to."
