Verb and tense help please

Hello, in last weeks B1 written weekend workout, this sentence was presented as the correct answer

"y dejé el resto de mis cosas guardadas en la taquilla"

I am trying to work out the verb and tense for "guardadas", but it has defeated me. I know it's somthing to do with "guardar" but the configuration isn't familiar to me.
Thanks

Hola Paul

"y dejé el resto de mis cosas guardadas en la taquilla"

This is the past participle form of guardar - the participle is functioning as an adjective and this is why you can see the agreement (cosas/guardadas).

Other similar sentences could be for example:

Tengo todo mi equipaje preparado.

I have all my luggage ready.

¿Están todos los platos puestos en la mesa?

Are all the dishes [put] on the table?

(Here we are using the irregular participle "puesto" also agreeing)

Encontré a las niñas escondidas detrás de un sofá.

I found the girls hidden behind a sofa.

But we have a Kwiziq lesson about this. Have a look here

Saludos

Inma
