Ver is regular in the pretérito indefinido?

Hola,

Is Ver "regular" if the accents are missing on the first and third persons singular conjugations?

Regards

John

Hola John

Yes, it is still a regular verb in El Indefinido as it follows the rule of regular -er verbs using the same endings. The reason why the 1st and 3rd person singular don't take an accent is because they are monosyllabic words, and these don't take an accent unless it is necessary to differentiate it to another word with the same spelling but a different meaning.

Yo vi / él vio (no accent)

Saludos,

Inma
