Tiene Usted still being taught but also still being counted as wrong

Question

"Do you have a cellphone?" (formal) = "Tiene usted un celular".

Yes yes yes, I know it's more common to have "Usted tiene" but that is also more ambiguous of a statement vs a question. "Tiene usted" leaves no question of it AND it's presented in the lesson as possible and I was still marked wrong saying I should have just used "Tiene". That is a real basic mistake for a website that I trust to teach me more Spanish than I have learned on Duolingo, especially when Inma already stated below apparently you added it to correct answers a year ago.

Hola Rina and JebiI checked and we did add the pronouns to the test-questions, so you should have been marked as correct if you added "usted" to "tiene" and if you placed the pronoun before or after. All this is reflected in the possible correct answers in all test-questions linked to this lesson. Could you please send us a screen shot of your answer to that question to investigate please?There could be some technical issue to solve. Gracias y saludos.Inma

I do apologize, I just checked again and the Latin American version of that question wasn't updated with the answers using the pronouns and the different order. Now it's all fixed.

I wrote '  Ti tiene' and it was markd incoreect and was stated as  tiene  ,  both ae accepted as correct  but mine was incorrect .

Hola PinkyThe correct answers would be either "Tú tienes" or "Usted tiene". If you use the informal tú you need the verb with the -s at the end.I hope this clarifies it.SaludosInma
