hi, in this story, there is a part that uses también as also.

can i use además instead? but it was mark as wrong.

Yes, of course. You can mark yourself as correct using "Además,..." - we instructed to use "también" for "also" in this instance in the hint, just to reduce the scope as there are different words for "also". But "además" is fine. : ))
