Sometimes in English

In some regions where English is spoken, they do the same thing. I don't do it, but I've heard people say things like "I'm gonna eat myself a big fat sandwich." This may be helpful for the English speakers who use this to understand the concept.

Hola Laura C.

That’s a good comparison, although in English it tends to be used more for emphasis than as a standard grammatical structure. It can still be a useful parallel for English speakers when thinking about how pronouns are used in Spanish.

Un saludo

Silvia
