Hola Sudeshna,

the fact that the word has a written accent won't change the rule to form the plural. It will still follow the rule explained in the lesson, adding -es at the end of the word.

I imagine you are referring to a word that has an accent in the singular form and when making its plural, this word loses the accent. For example:

el árbol -> los árboles

this word doesn't lose the accent because we keep the stress on the same syllable when making the plural (ár -bo - les) and following the rules for accentuation in Spanish you still need the written accent. However:

la estación --> las estaciones

the plural word loses the accent if we follow the rules for accentuation in Spanish.

I will include a note in the lesson to create awareness about this, also including a link to rules for accentuation. Also, for the quizzes with words that lose the accent in the plural I have included a hint saying that that word loses the accent, so students are aware when writing their answers. I hope this helps.

Saludos cordiales

Inma
