Punto gramatical pequeño

En la frase, "que si unas almejas", no entiendo porque utilizamos 'si' y no 'son'.

Hola Jamie,

this is very colloquial in Spanish; we use "que si..., ....., ..." when we want to name things in the form of a "list". Very often, "que si" is repeated before each element of the list (although it is not repeated in this dictation). In the dictation it is listing the few things that she is going to eat: que si almejas, jamoncito, vino blanco... We could have also said: "que si unas almejas, que si un jamoncito, que si un vino blanco..."

I have noted this for a future C1 lesson.

I hope it is clear as there is no clear translation in English.

Saludos

Inma
