Hola Margaret!

A reflexive verb indicates that the action of a verb is performed by the same person it affects. This means that the subjects are doing something to themselves or to each other.

For example, in the sentence I wash myself everyday, I is both the person doing the action and the person it is done to.

I hope that this explanation helps you to understand better.

¡Hasta pronto! Silvia

Hola, Silvia, and thank you for your explanation.  That was my understanding of the reflexive verb, but I did feel that I needed confirmation. I appreciate your help.
