Please define a reflexive verb. Is it when someone does somethiing to or for one's self? Thank you.

A reflexive verb indicates that the action of a verb is performed by the same person it affects. This means that the subjects are doing something to themselves or to each other.
For example, in the sentence I wash myself everyday, I is both the person doing the action and the person it is done to.
