All the examples are in present tense.

How do we know if something is countable. I don't think we can count stars.

And we can count money. trees... I can count in my yard but not in forest.

If you can make it plural or count it then the noun is countable.

One star, two stars, a few stars

One dollar, two dollars, a few dollars

but: one money, two money, a few money -- we cannot say this so the noun "money" is uncountable.
