Melchor o Melchior?

Hola,

El título de este ejercicio indica que el nombre del rey mago es "Melchior" pero el texto usa una ortografía diferente de "Melchor."

¿Hay una diferencia?

Saludos

John

Hola John y Clara,

The spelling in Spanish for the Three Wise Men are: Melchor, Gaspar andBaltasar.

I believe their English names are spelled differently:

Casper, Balthazar, and Melchior

HI John,

I'm so pleased that you've asked this question as I had planned to ask the very same.

My surname is Melchor. In Spain although it is a surname, it's more commonly used as a christian name.

Like you,I have always thought that one of the 3 kings was 'Melcior'. I'm sure that the team will explain for us... I'm thinking that perhaps 'Melchor' is simply the Spanish spelling.

Great question! :)

Saludos y Feliz año nuevo

Clara

Por supuesto! A veces es tan obvio que no lo veo.

Gracias Inma. J
