"María come poco pan."

Wouldn't that sentence better translate to "Maria eats little bread."?

And "Maria doesn't eat much bread." better translate to "María no come mucho pan."?

We used this translation "María doesn't eat much bread" to sound more natural. But, yes, the literal translation would be "María eats little bread"
