In the lesson it says convertirse en and hacerse can both be used to talk about a career change with the former indicating a more drastic change. However in the quiz both answers are listed (for a sentence about a career change) but only hacerse is marked as being correct.

Lesson and quiz differ
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Using convertirse en / ponerse / hacerse / quedarse to express "to become" (Spanish verbs of change)"
Asked 2 years ago
Hola A
I checked all the test questions for this topic. I imagine you are referring to this question:
En mi casa, todos nos hemos hecho ecologistas.
(At my house, we've all become ecologists.)
In the menu there is another option: nos hemos convertido
but this would be incorrect to use here because the preposition "en" is missing. We highlight this in the lesson when we talk about convertirse en.
I hope it clarified it.
Saludos
