Les Correct Also?

Since the preposition “a” as a personal “a” wouldn’t “les” also be a correct?

Hola Stan

Even verbs that require preposition "a" can have a "direct object pronoun". Have a look at this sentence with verb "ver" [a alguien] = to see [someone].

"Yo veo a mis padres todos los domingos."

Here "a mis padres" would be a direct object, not an indirect object, therefore if turned into a pronoun we need "los", not "les":

"Yo los veo todos los domingos."

Having said that, you will occasionally see a "le/les" used incorrectly. This is due to something called "leísmo" which is an incorrect use of lo/los, making them le/les.

I hope this helps.

Gracias y un saludo

Inma
