Laughing at oneself?
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Conjugate stem-changing -ir verbs (e > i): competir, reír, servir in the present tense in Spanish (El Presente)"

Hola Marcos
You need to add "de uno mismo" or "de sí mismo" to convey that. If It´s only reírse, then you´re just saying "to laugh" (it´s a pronominal verb)
This may be useful to reinforce this: emphatic reflexive pronouns
