I have but it's modified to fit the appropriate English :
tengo dinero = I have money BUT tengo frío = I am cold (I have coldness)

As Garry said, "tengo" means "I have". If you want to include the pronoun (I/ yo) you can also say, although we tend to drop the pronouns):
Yo tengo
(I have)
