Why "cada uno de april" versus "cada primero de abril"? How common is either form?
Interesting but . . . maybe you can explain?

Hola Garry
We use either "uno de [month]" or "primero de [month]" to refer to the first day of each month. It is a lot more common to use "primero de..." in Latin America though. In Spain we use "uno de..." most of the time.
So you can choose the one you prefer depending on where you live.
