How would you say "Please Marta, bring them some glasses of wine."?

Hi, i picked in the quiz

NOT OK Por favor Marta, les trae unas copas de vino.

but it is wrong. Why this below is correct answer? I though the "les" can be put in front of verb and behind.

In Spanish, you can’t place “les” in front of the verb for affirmative commands.

Yup, I agree, it is confusing.  But still these quizzes seem to help.

In Spanish, the placement of object pronouns like "les" can indeed be a bit tricky. In the correct answer, "tráeles unas copas de vino," the object pronoun "les" is placed before the verb "tráe." This placement is called "clitic doubling" or "clitic doubling with imperatives." It's a common structure in Spanish, particularly with affirmative commands or imperatives.

The placement of the pronoun before the verb in commands is standard in Spanish and helps to clarify who is receiving the action. In the incorrect option, "Por favor Marta, les trae unas copas de vino," the placement of "les" after the verb "trae" is incorrect in this context.

Remembering the placement of object pronouns in Spanish commands can take some practice, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes more intuitive.
