How can ”chopped pork and vegetables” become ”cerdo y verduras picadas”? I have ”cerdo picado y verduras”. El cerdo esta picado, no las verduras??

I understand it could be a bit confusing as you could interpret it in different ways. To simplify it we change that particular sentence and it's now saying "...chopped pork and chopped vegetables" so it is absolutely clear we are referring to all ingredients. I hope that helps.
