Hi Laurie, what's the context? Do you mean in general, or is there a specific context that's confused you?

Sometimes in the tests it seems to me it could be in the ustedes form but the answer is in the vosotros form then I start to try guessing whether or not you're looking for the vosotros answer or the ustedes answer. I keep guessing wrong.

We generally include hints to resolve any ambiguities of that sort, however if you do spot questions that you feel were ambiguous, there's a 'report a problem' next to each question in the test report to let us know so we can take a look.

I think of vosotros/as as saying "y'all" or "you both" vs. ustedes as a formal version of you plural or they. Is this correct, in general?
