if idea is feminine sowe use la, but in a quiz it was incorrect and the correct one was ( el idea)so is idea a feminine or musculine noun?

Thank you for contacting us. Just to clarify, “idea” is a feminine noun in Spanish, so the correct article is always "la idea". The form “el idea” is not correct in standard Spanish.
