Is this an acceptable construction for "let me know" or does it need to be "déjame que sepa"?

Déjame saber?
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Spanish verbs Dejar vs Dejarse (pronominal verbs)"

Hola R,
actually, to say "let me know" in Spanish we don't use the verb dejar at all; we use "hacer" instead, so we'd say "házmelo saber", or even more colloquially "avísame" (using the verb avisar).
We wouldn't use any of these with que plus subjunctive.
Saludos
