Cuando again

Cuando again

¡A ver ________ encuentras un buen trabajo! Let's see when you find a good job!  I fear this one could rumble on for ever.   One interpretatyion in Englis could be:  " I'll see about that the day you get a decent job.  A statement and no implicit question.(HINT: ¿Cuándo or cuando?)

Hola Ian

I can see why you interpret this in a different way. The sentence in English is slightly different:

What we have in the quiz is:

Let's see when you find a good job!

Let's see "at what moment in time" you find a good job! (=cuándo)

But if you say:

I'll see about that when you find a new job!

For this we would say in Spanish:

Ya lo veremos cuando/[en el momento en que] encuentres un trabajo nuevo! (=cuando)

I had the same issue with this one.  I interpreted it the second way, which seems more natural in English.
