Now I want to repeat it!

Kwizbot's answer:

¡Ahora quiero repetir!

Your answer:

!Ya quiero repetirlo!

Wondering why there wasn’t an alternative that would include “ya” and “lo”? (I know you addressed this in your reply below for "lo" but wouldn't it be an acceptable answer nevertheless? or is it really a rookie error on my part?

Hola Nicole P.

Your answer is not wrong at all. Both ¡Ya quiero repetirlo! and ¡Ahora quiero repetir! are natural Spanish.

In this exercise, the system was expecting a more literal translation of “Now I want to repeat!”, which is why the hint guided learners toward repetir without additional words like ya or lo. Restricting the accepted answers also helps us avoid generating too many possible variations in free-writing exercises.

That said, ya adds the nuance of “already / now already” and lo refers back to the activity (“repeat it”)

So your sentence is perfectly understandable and idiomatic Spanish.

Hasta pronto

Silvia
