I was taught to use the phrase, "maquillarse la cara". Is "maquillar su cara" natural to say in Spanish?
I wrote "voy a maquillarle la cara", and I think this is also correct.
"Espero que nos den asiento en una mesa cerca de la ventana"
Please can you explain why here, 'I hope that the give us SEAT on a table close to the window' Is this a nuance in Spanish?
Thanks
I want to make sure I understand the lesson correctly--so continuar is never used with an infinitive, as it is in English? It is only correct to use it with a gerund?
Hello and I hope you are all doing and staying well!
In English they say that becoming proficient with transitive and intransitive verbs further includes knowing how they function with direct and indirect objects.
1) I'm wondering if this applies as well in Spanish and if so
2) how can we use this and which lessons cover this particular subject.?
Thank you for your help.

I can' t understand the use of él here: ¿Que nunca has oído hablar de él?
Sounds like referring to a male person. Why don't you use ello here, since it's about a mountain?
I've seen this stuctrure elsewhere, but still don't understand it. Can you, please, explain?
