Is there a missing "s"? Wouldn't it be "los aplausos en las calles"?

I have received no emails from Kwiziq in the last week. (notifications of new Q&A answers, daily announcements, etc.) is it just me?

“Jacinta y yo sabemos donde es la fiesta”. I thought it was standard to say está when referring to location. Am I missing something about a circumstance to say “donde es”?

I really enjoy your reading practices. Good pacing and vocabulary complex enough for me to learn it well.
