This time it's your turn to discover an ecological city. Let's see, we're talking about Vitoria-Gasteiz. In 2012, it was designated as a European Green Capital by the European Commission. And this despite competing with cities like Barcelona, Malmö, Nuremberg and Reykjavik. Vitoria-Gasteiz is the perfect city where many people would like to live thanks to its spectacular 30 km Green Belt, whose parks of high ecological and landscape value are strategically linked by eco-recreational corridors. There is no city in Spain that has so many square metres of green spaces per inhabitant as in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Also, in some of these gardens and parks they go round building organic gardens to promote the sustainability of the environment.

Clever stuff happening!
