Alejandro Amenábar is one of the most famous Spanish directors. He was born in Chile, but he has lived in Spain nearly all his life. In 1996, when he was only twenty-four years old, he premiered his first movie, "Thesis". Other famous movies by Amenábar are "Open your eyes" and "The others". The great actress Nicole Kidman was the main character of this last film. He also received very good reviews for his film "Out to sea", which is about euthanasia, a very controversial topic. Now that you know Alejandro Amenábar, watch one of his films! I think that his movies are very good.
