Last night I attended my first carnival. It was in Cadiz, in the south of Spain. I saw many people dressed up in the street and there were various activities, for example masked dances, passacaglia music and fireworks. Everything was happening at the same time! There was an amazing atmosphere. Also, I learned that a chirigota is a group of people that sing humorous popular songs. I want to return to Cadiz on these dates.
