Yesterday I ate an Easter cake after lunch. This dessert has always been very traditional in all Mediterranean countries. It's a plain or chocolate sponge cake and it comes from the Arabic word "munna", which means "provision of the mouth". This cake is eaten on Easter Monday, usually for dessert or at tea time. It reminds me of the King Cake because its shape is similar but its taste is fairly different.
