The Ni Una Menos movement was born to denounce violence against women. It emerged in 2015 in Argentina in response to femicides. Many people began demonstrating in the streets. Its main objective is both to demand justice and protection for women and to make gender inequality visible. Through protests, it seeks to generate social change. Social media has played a very important role in its dissemination. Thanks to them, the message reached other countries. Ni Una Menos not only denounces physical violence, but also addresses psychological and economic violence. The movement has opened debates in society and politics. Some laws have been modified thanks to this social pressure. However, many challenges still remain, as gender violence continues to be a serious problem.

Clever stuff happening!
