Do you recognise this colloquial term for kids/guys/gals? It's a common form of very informal address in Argentina, Uruguay and Bolivia. Like pretty much every single Latino country I know they are obessed with football ("soccer" for our US readers) so it certainly brought a smile to my face (and a tear to my eye, I admit) when I saw this Argentinian campaign video that uses the metaphor of football in the fight against the coronavirus:
How many famous footballers did you spot? Can you hear and do you know the meaning of the following football terms used in the video?
el primer tiempo
el partido
la hinchada
la cancha
