Here's an initiative that was already very important when we were still living in "normal times" that has really come to the fore since the pandemic converted all the elderly into a vulnerable population. It's a website called Adopta un abuelo that, a bit like a dating app, matches seniors who are living alone with volunteers who can help them even if it's just to have someone to talk to.
