Conjugate irregular verbs dormir and morir in Pretérito Indefinido (simple past)

Dormir and morir are irregular in El Pretérito Indefinido but both follow the same pattern replacing the -o- with a -u- in the 3rd person singular and plural (ella/ él/ usted and ellas/ ellos/ ustedes): 

yo dormí
dormiste 
él / ella / Ud. durmió
nosotros dormimos
vosotros dormisteis
ellos / ellas / Uds.  durmieron

Yo dormí 8 horas ayer.I slept 8 hours yesterday.

moriste de sed en el desierto.You died of thirst in the desert.

Jaime durmió como un bebé.Jaime slept like a baby.

Nosotros casi morimos de hambre durante la guerra.We almost died of hunger during the war.

Ellos murieron en el atentado.They died in the attack.

¿Ustedes dónde durmieron anoche?Where did you sleep last night?
