Hola Michelle C.

Both answers you mention — "que jamás haya conocido" and "que jamás yo he conocido" — are grammatically correct, but they differ in tone, register, and what’s considered more idiomatic in Spanish.

In expressions with superlatives like "el hombre más honesto", Spanish typically prefers the subjunctive mood, in this case, "que jamás haya conocido", because it refers to a subjective, possibly non-specific group and expresses an emotional evaluation or opinion.

Your version with the indicative ("que jamás yo he conocido") is understandable and structurally valid, but it sounds more factual or objective and is less commonly used in this kind of superlative construction.

For that reason, the subjunctive form is marked as the correct answer, as it reflects more natural, idiomatic usage at the C1 level.

We really appreciate your close attention to detail — great work!

Hasta pronto

Silvia
