In this sentence, why is "tu espalda" used, whereas in one of the lessons, whereas in this lesson the definitive article is used. Using definite articles el, la, los, las in Spanish with bodyparts and clothing (Artículo definido)%252Fsearch%253Fs%253Dbody%2526model%253Dgrammar


Also, would "va a darte" also be correct?

Hola Catharine

The definite article is very often used when it is obvious that you refer to your own body as we explain in that A2 lesson. Sometimes we use the possessive to emphasise and also in certain sentences it does sound OK to use them. We have added the option using "la espalda" to the correct answers in the exercise. 

You can also use the verb with the pronoun at the end "va a darte", so that's also been added.
