Tu and vosotros

1. What's the difference between tu and vosotros.

2. I would like to start Spanish from LKG level. I learn from here and there. I would like to have a systematic study. How could kwizuq help me?

Hola Bhargav V.

The difference between and vosotros is mainly about number and usage. is the informal “you” used when speaking to one person, while vosotros/vosotras is the informal plural “you” used for a group, mainly in Spain. For example, comes (you eat, one person) vs vosotros coméis (you all eat). In most of Latin America, vosotros isn’t used and ustedes is used instead for all plural situations. This distinction is important because it affects verb conjugations and imperative forms, like the ones in your lesson.

Regarding learning systematically with Kwiziq, Marcos has given excellent advice and I’d reinforce it by highlighting how Kwiziq is designed. The platform is structured around Competencies, which are focused mini-lessons targeting a single, testable objective. This means you can build your knowledge step by step in a clear and logical way rather than learning scattered topics.

A strong approach is to choose your level (starting at A0/A1 is ideal in your case), work through lessons in order and group related topics into notebooks (for example, pronouns, present tense, commands). After studying each lesson, quiz yourself and regularly review your notebooks. Kwiziq’s testing system is adaptive, so it helps reinforce weaker areas and makes your study feel structured even if you learn in short sessions.

Finally, don’t rely only on grammar lessons. Use additional tools like readers, gapfills and dictations to practise combining multiple skills in context. This helps turn your knowledge into real language ability, which is the ultimate goal.

If you’d like, I can suggest a simple A0–A1 study plan or help you organise your first notebook.

Saludos

Silvia

Re #2: I have found Kwiziq to be highly useful for systematic study. First you choose a level, and for me it was good to start at the beginning as it seems you are doing as well since right now you are shown as level A1.  To be systematic you go the the Kwiziq A1 library and put up to a dozen or so lessons that you want to study into a Kwiziq notebook (on a paid plan you can create multiple notebooks).  Then you study each lesson and write down its rules in a paper notebook of your own. When you are ready to quiz all the lessons in your notebook, you click on the button to be quizzed on all the topics in your Kwiziq notebook.

You can make different Kwiziq notebooks for different topics and in addition  the Question and Answer forums have some excellent questions which give useful tips. Of course you can also ask questions of your own.
