Todo esto haría...

Hola, the second last sentence says " Todo esto haría crecer nuestro negocio.". Can it be "Todo esto crecería nuestro negocio."? If it can, what would be the difference between these two expressions? Thank you.

Hi there Naomi -

According to my [Oxford] Dictionary, 'crecer' is never a transitive verb [whereas in English it can be], so your second [alternative] option is not correct Spanish.

Hola Naomi

As David said, crecer is not normally used with a direct object - you could say in this case for example "Todo esto aumentaría nuestro negocio."

So, the natural way to say it in this case is by using the verb hacer: haría crecer nuestro negocio.

Saludos
