Why use  the  verb second person  plural veis  instead of ven when

there are 3 persons , Carol  Jorn and tu as the subjects of the sentence.?

Vosotros refers to you plus two other people i.e you all.

If it was just the two people without you, the pronoun would be they i.e ellos ven.

Yes, if "you" are part of the subject, that makes it a "vosotros":

Paula y Marta van al trabajo. (they go)

Paula, Marta y tú vais al trabajo. (Paula, Marta and you go [you all])
