Test quedtion

Why es “que flores” correct? I thought “cual flores” would be the correct response… the question was “what flowers do you prefer?”

Hola Andrea

There are two lessons (both of them apply to Latin America); one is about asking questions with qué, where one of the bullet points explains how you can use it with nouns, e.g. "¿Qué tapas quieres? And in that same bullet point at the end it tells you that you can also use "cuál/cuáles + noun" and it directs you to the other lesson that focuses on that very specific point. I can see that in your recent tests you got questions from both lessons, and this particular test-question about the flowers admits both qué and cuáles as correct answers but you missed the accent on cuáles; this is why the system is saying that is "nearly correct" instead of "fully correct", (if you go back to your report page for that test, you can see that your answer is still a green tick) but this is just to make you aware, it doesn't have an impact on your scoring / confidence.

I hope this clarified it.

Saludos
