Stem changing verbs in the future and conditional cases

Question

I have noticed that all of the verbs that have a stem change in the future (querer -> querr-  and tener -> tendr-) have the same stem in the future and the conditional tenses.  Is this a general rule, or are there exceptions.

All irregular verbs in the future keep the irregularity in the conditional. 
It's not a long list, here they are:
decir, haber, hacer, poder, poner, querer, salir, venir, caber, tener, valer, saber and their derivatives
I don't think I'm leaving any behind...

According to my grammar book there are absolutely no exceptions to that pattern.

Sometimes I have to be careful that my French does not interfere with my Spanish: for example I do need to make an effort to remember that the Spanish verb "deber" does not have an irregular [contracted] future stem, unlike the corresponding French verb "devoir"; [compare also Spanish recibir > recibiré, but in French recevoir > recevrai].
