Spelling of "irreemplazable"

According to my dictionaries, there is a double 'e' in "irreemplazable"... [When I tried to leave my post like that^ - i.e. as just one brief sentence, Kwiziq refused to accept it, saying that I had not provided enough detail ... However, there is no need to say more... Admittedly, it is only a small point].

Hola David M.

Both "irreemplazable" and "irremplazable" are currently accepted in the exercise. While the double "e" form follows standard prefixation rules, the single "e" version is also widely used and recognized. Thanks for your attention to detail!

Saludos

Silvia

It appears that one 'e' or two 'ee' are both acceptable.

Thank you Alan - Yes, my dictionaries do indeed mention the remplazar/remplazable option ... It could, however be argued that the double-e version is "better" - because it more accurately reflects the fact that "re-" is really a prefix which gets added to the original verb "emplazar".
