RE: Chupachups (B2) Spanish writing exercise Sentence: In this way, the brand grew over the years HINT: In this way = de este modo Kwizbot De este modo, la marca creció con los años I was surprised that the preterite was used here and not the imperfect, as they are talking about over the years, which would have been an ongoing growth up to a point in the future, meaning that the growth was ongoing. Per the lesson attached to this section: Using El Imperfecto vs El indefinido (general use) it states: El Pretérito Imperfecto for actions in the past with no clear beginning and end. I’m sure there is an end to the action, there doesn’t seem to be a clear end. What am I missing? Thank you.
