Hello,

Re: Page: https://progress.lawlessspanish.com/my-languages/spanish/exercises/judge/183/422794?response=53775&;page=11

The text reads:  There are only advantages!

The best answer is :¡sólo hay ventajas!

You could also say:¡Solo hay ventajas!

 Or also:¡Solo hay beneficios!

Why no accents on the other two "solo"s?

Hola Nicole

We've given both options as correct in this exercise because we wanted to be understanding with the people who learned this rule, but we realise from your question that we are doing them a disservice. and from now on we will apply the rule so that new learners as well as those returning to Spanish learning after a break get to know it. Just so you know, before 2010 the word "solo" was written with an accent, but from 2010 it was no longer accepted.

We talk about this change in our section Written accents. Have a look here.

We will change the options in this exercise so only the non-accented solo will be an option.

Saludos

Wow! Thank you for this information.  It is very interesting to see how languages evolve with time.
