Sentence: por las tardes

Hello,

I was wondering why the sentence "in the evening..." is translated with "por laS tardeS...". Why is it plural here? Would "por la tarde" also be correct?

If we say "in the evening" meaning "every evening" you can also use it in the plural "por las tardes" - both would be correct. We'll add it to the exercise. Thanks.
