Question

I thought it should have been una reunión de negocias but that was marked as incorrect. Is it always the case that a noun modifying another noun comes in its original form or is it a special case for "negocios"?

Hola Jamison,The word negocio, meaning 'business' is a masculine noun. In the sentence you mention, "una reunión de negocios"= a business meeting, the feminine noun is 'reunión'. So it's literally 'a meeting of business'. I hope this helps a bit :)

Jamison - Focussing specifically on your question: "Is it always the case that a noun modifying another noun comes in its original form?" - I am inclined to answer: "Yes - unless the modifying noun gets recast as an adjective" - although an 'alteration' of this type this is probably rather rare!
