Nada de + infinitive

In this example, "No me gusta nada ir de compras" why the preposition DE after the word NADA was omitted?

Hola Rosalie

This use of "nada" is different to that explained in that lesson.

We sometimes reinforce the "negative" when using gustar by adding "nada" after the verb. In this case there is no "de".

No me gusta nada ir de compras.

I absolutely dislike going shopping.

No me gusta nada tu camisa.

I do not like your shirt.

No me gusta nada el tono que usas conmigo.

I do not like that tone you're using with me.

I hope this clarifies it.

Saludos

Inma
