I did a search to find a lesson to learn these terms, but could not find any. I did see the word "lejos" in a list in the directions lesson, but nothing else.
Could you tell me 1) how to look for lessons (will just doing a search find these?) and what lesson you have that would encompass this. Thank you. Nicole
I think the best way to look for lessons is to go to Library and choose the level you want, then search by word. For example, if you type word "gustar" or "estar", it will give you the titles of lessons with that content. But I will pass your request to one of my colleagues who may give you more useful information about how to navigate the site.
As for the difference between lejos and lejano, "lejos" is an adverb meaning "far/far away" it will be acompanied by a verb, for example: "Yo trabajo lejos del centro" (I work far away from the centre), while "lejano" is an adjective that will accompany a noun. It also means far/far away. For example: "Ella vive en una ciudad lejana" (She lives in a far away city.) As an adjective, it will need to agree with the noun it is referring to [lejano, lejana, lejanos, lejanas].
You can say pretty much the same thing using the adverb, for example: "Ella vive en una ciudad que está lejos.)
Hope this helps
Thank you so much Inma, this was very helpful.
Have a great weekend. Nicole
